Shortstanding Highmeadow

Take Bracelands Drive down past the Christchurch/Woodlands Forest Holidays Campsite. Continue downhill, over the speed ramps and take the first track on the right immediately before the houses on the right. Take the track for 360m until you come to the wooden barrier on the right. Drive through the barrier and continue along the forest road for approx. 800m to the large opening and parking area.

Foxes Bridge Colliery

From Valley Road roundabout, Cinderford take the track to the burger van (turn off Valley Road at SO649138). Follow this track past the burger van and park just beyond the metal barrier behind the sewage works. The track is much improved, but please drive carefully. Alternative parking at Ruspidge Halt with a walk to the meeting point.
