Maintain species rich hay meadow - rake hay off meadows into rubble bags, tarps or trailer to remove thatch, three small meadows on gentle slopes. Bring a fork if you have one |

Lancaut SSSI Nature Reserve Meet on Lancaut lane informal car park to descend for 300m to Lancaut chapel meadow. Location: Lancaut Lane is off the B4228 (Coleford to Chepstow road) just north of Woodcroft (Wintour's Leap). |
Restore meadow surrounds to ancient derelict chapel - cut (brushcutter trained persons) bramble, bracken scrub, rake off to shady compost piles, Possible fire site, rake up debris to encourage meadow regrowth to be grazed by sheep |

Marians Pond Toad crossing From Coleford take the B4228 to Berry Hill. Approx 300metres before the Christchurch/Bracelands campsite crossroads, go left along a track, bear left and enter the wood through a metal barrier at SO570125. Follow the forest road, take the first left and follow the forest road to the parking area at SO566119 |
Erecting new toad fence along main road. Bring good digging spades if you have one and lots of technical brain power and muscle. Working with the Highways due to the main road so NO DOGS on actual work site Bring High Visibility vests if you have one. |

Edgehills GWT Nature Reserve The 'Wilderness' road sign is one of a kind and on the A4136 at the highest point between Cinderford and Mitcheldean. Drive as high as you can on this road (A4136) and within 100m will be the 'Wilderness' sign, take the unnamed forest track opposite. Continue along forest track for approx.. 1 mile to Forest gate and Edgehills nature reserve. |
Heathland restoration - cut and treat birch, cut and leave larch, dig up/ pull up part buried old fence that is hazard to grazing animals. Bonfire dependant on weather (not dry!) |
