A group of volunteers meet at the Arboretum on the first monday of every month at 11 a.m.

23 Nov 10	Ridley Bottom Nature Reserve Meet and the bottom of 'Kelly's Lane' off 'Rosemary's Lane' off the B4228 between Chepstow and Coleford. 7 Dec 10	Tidenham Chase Heading along the B4228 from Coleford, pass through St Briavels, after a few miles look for car park on the right hand side signposted Tidenham Park.	Scrub removal and heathland restoration	ST559994
14 Dec 10	Xmas Do Christmas dormice nut hunt at Lippets Grove Nature Reserve followed by a buffet lunch at the George, St. Briavels Meet at the car park at Tidenham Chase at 10 am	Gentle stroll to search the woods for nuts eaten by dormice to ascertain their presence.	ST559994
21 Dec 10	Mallards Pike Heading from Parkend towards Blakeney take the left hand turn into Mallards Pike recreation site, sign posted.	Birch removal	SO638090
4 Jan 11	Long Ponds, Plump Hill Heading from Coleford on the B4136, take the right hand turn opposite the Wilderness centre at the top of Plump Hill.	Scrub removal from pond edges (bring wellies) and grassland maintenance	SO658167
11 Jan 11	The Doward From the A40 follow signs for The Doward. Then turn left onto the minor roads heading towards Biblins Youth Campsite.	TBC	SO547157

All tasks are led by FC Ranger or GWT Ranger staff, start at 9.45 am and finish around 3pm

Please remember that you must wear steel toe-capped boots and gloves.
Please bring wellington boots if you have them, as many of the sites are rather wet.
Some of the sites are difficult to find and therefore an ordnance survey map will be useful
As a general rule, we will try to do at least some work on wet days so please bring wet weather gear
