A group of volunteers meet at the Arboretum on the first monday of every month at 11 a.m.

05 Jan 10	Milkwall Meet in the Darkhill carpark off the Sling – Fetter Hill road. Walk to the barrier and go left along the cycle path following the arrows.	Coppicing and bracken control to enhance habitat for the small pearl bordered fritillary, violets and adders.	SO588087

Please remember that you must wear steel toe-capped boots and gloves.
Please bring wellington boots if you have them, as many of the sites are rather wet.
Some of the sites are difficult to find and therefore an ordnance survey map will be useful
As a general rule, we will try to do at least some work on wet days so please bring wet weather gear
