Follow this track past the burger van and park just beyond the metal barrier behind the sewage works.

Meet by steel barrier halfway down the track off of Plump Hill leading towards Edge Hills reserve. Please drive very carefully up the track off of the main road to the meeting point - it has some serious potholes in places, the track is due to be graded this month but will not be done by Tuesday.

Go up the track opposite Gunns Mill towards the kennels. Meet at barrier.

Foxes Bridge car park

Small car park off of the Speech House road. If coming from the direction of Cinderford it is on the left just past the crematorium.

Summer get together!

Due to the change in Forestry England policy around the use of BBQs on our sites we are unable to use the BBQ and, due to Covid, we thought it best that the less handling of others food the better. Therefore, please bring your own savoury lunch and drinks and we will provide the puddings! Please can we ask you bring something to sit on and your own plate/bowl/cutlery.

We know it is not as fancy as usual, BUT, the key thing here is that we are all getting together and celebrating everything we have done over the last 2 years! -

Horsepool Bottom Nature Reserve at Oakraven Field Centre, Jubilee Road, Mitcheldean, GL17 0HC

From Mitcheldean take the A4136 towards Coleford/Monmouth and take the first left down Jubilee Road. Oakraven is along there on the left after a couple of miles.
