Woorgreen GWT Nature Reserve

The team met on a beautiful morning at Woorgreen Lake. Our task was to coppice masses of Alder in the swampy area by the side of the lake.

We had a team with us who were the volunteers for the South Hams GWT near to Tewkesbury.

	Our ranger is giving us the briefing before we start for the day
	The density of the Alder can be seen hear. We were to pile the smaller branches in heaps and the bigger logs in other heaps thus creating habitat piles.
	At the end of the day, we had achieved a vast clearance towards the lake.
