Wigpool GWT Nature Reserve

We were working at Wigpool Nature Reserve today continuing to clear the small conifers and birch to help restore the area to heathland. The day started off very sunny but the fog crept in. We had a visit from the GWT Volunteer Co-ordinator who goes out to volunteer groups.

	Starting up the first fire. This area was eventually cleared down to the ground.
	We need a big fire now that the weather is getting so cold!
