The Sweet Chestnut trees were to be taken down along this track.

Near the Darkhill Ironworks there is a cycle track which follows through to Coleford. Along the edge of this cycle track is an area of Sweet Chestnut trees that had been badly ravaged by squirrels. The removal of these trees would leave a clear space for the Larch trees behind. Another days work is required on this site.
