Darkhill and Beechenhurst

Today was our annual Dean Green Team BBQ where our regular rangers do all the barbequeing for us which is lovely! Whilst they were preparing for it we went to Darkhill for a couple of hours bracken bashing. It was a glorious day and very hot!

	A truly good summer day and wearing shorts whilst trying to avoid the stinging nettles and bramble!
	We were advised to take plenty of shady rest and drink lots of water - the temperature rose to 25 degrees!
	We used the Glade at Beechenhurst for the barbeque - sausages, burgers, vegetarian, followed by fresh strawberries and cream as well as sticky buns. Thank you to our Rangers - much appreciated!
	So, here we have the Dean Green Team - over 40 of us! Many members come out with us every week whether it is hot, rainy, or freezing!
