This was a day of beautiful snow. The stream at Parkend was flowing with very clear water. Contractors had been in from our last visit and were removing some of the large pines which left the debris for us to clear up to stop in falling in the stream and causing another blockage. We lit a couple of fires to burn away the branches but only worked through to lunchtime. We all went to a local pub to celebrate with a Christmas lunch which was very convivial.
