Bracken bashing at Darkhill Iron Works. There are signs of fewer ferns emerging now as we do this here regularly.
This magnificent Hawthorn is in full flower. The ferns up to the gate were all bashed down! |

These are two Large Red Damselflies mating. These damselflies inhabit small ponds, lakes and dikes, and occasionally slow-moving rivers. |
