Flaxley Woods

Grid Ref SO675159

We have visited Flaxley Woods regularly over the last 5 years. It is a noted wildlife area for wild flowers and Dormice. We clear the cut branches around the fencing so that the wild flowers can thrive.

At the start of the day, our ranger does the Health and Safety talk and checks that she knows how many of us are there (29 today!)

Moving the brush towards the fence line to clear the ground. These had been cut by our contractor before we came.

Larger logs are piled as wildlife refuge for creatures.

Happy team! They are all dressed in blue!
