Perry Hay Brook - Water Project

We were deep in the forest in the rain! We were clearing a glade as this is a noted area for Adders so we took down small trees and piled them up to provide shelter for the Adders as well as creating a sunny area for them to bask.

This is Perry Hay Brook lying below our glade. The brook has a lot of leafy dams in it now and the effect of these dams can be seen to have created small ponds and slow down the flooding. |
