The team met at Speculation Enclosure to remove many old tree guards. These tree guards had been protecting the young saplings from deer damage for quite a few years and the young trees are now big enough to grow well without the guards.

 

 

We cut off the plastic ties as the guards can be re-used.

The very large pile of old tree guards are removed and taken for recycling to the Forestry depot.
