It was the most beautiful day to be out at Tidenham Chase again. Autumn is in full flow so the colours of the trees and the mass of fungi are a delight!

The large team continued to clear birch and gorse for heathland restoration.

All the shrubs in the background were cleared.

Any oak trees we found were left to continue growing.

The area behind the fire had been cleared previously so the heathland is now exposed.

Two fires to remove the brush.

Stumps were also treated with weedkiller to prevent them from re-growing.
