On a very hot day we did do some bracken bashing and we did a very productive Wildlife Survey where we found 9 Slow worms!

There is an area at Dark Hill where corrugated sheeting is spread out under the bracken. We gently lifted quite a few of these and we were delighted to count 9 Slow worms there. (We also found many ant's nests!) |
