The volunteers at the Forest Water Project had a Lesson on Professional Tree Planting. We had 170 trees to plant at Foxes Bridge with a choice of Rowan, Aspen, Goat Willow and Poplar. It was a great experience, learning how to plant trees that within 8 - 12 years will be taller than us, and for future generations.

After our lesson we spread out over the area to plant the trees. |
The bird song was immense and we heard Willow Warblers, Chiff Chaff, Black Cap and Song Thrush not to mention Buzzards calling above in the sky, but No Cuckoo!! |
