The old rusty fencing alongside the road was removed as the gateway

is now further up the hill.

Our Stenders Quarry ranger came to visit us but he has had an operation

on his wrist so he sported a massive sling

to demonstrate his inability to do any work!

There was an abundance of Primroses growing on this grassy bank

and, when they die off, they are replaced by Lesser Spotted Orchids.
