It was a sheer pleasure to get back to volunteering with the Dean Green Team. We spent over a week in a various groups of 6 people going round and clearing the fencing - mostly bramble and other foliage. We also cleared detritus from the steel mesh protecting rhe culverts. We could go in the inside of the beaver enclosure where we saw, up close, the work the beavers have done since moving in. One of their new dams was clearly visible, together with a number of felled trees showing the characteristic pointed Beaver shape.
