Our GWT Ranger has been keeping us busy after organising two days a week for two groups of five people to assist him with the removal of Alder trees at Woorgreen GWT Reserve over the last month. He is hoping to continue this plan in the New Year on another GWT Reserve.
We were very lucky with the weather on both these days as every other day has been torrential rain and there is now a lot of flooding in the forest.

This is a stunning image of a rainbow which we saw in the afternoon.
As usual, the inquisitive cattle are inspecting the bonfire!
It took quite a while to get the fire started as it is very soggy on the ground. There was a delay at first because the cattle had to be shooed away!
