Woorgreen GWT Nature Reserve

This was our last working day with the Gloucester Wildlife Trust for 2021 and we were tasked with removing conifers and a small amount of birch from an area next to one we had worked on previously.

 

GWT, very kindly, provide us with fish and chips as a 'thank you' for our volunteering work over the year and it is much appreciated!

	We are also permitted to take away a Christmas tree at this time of year.
	By the end of the day, there were five or six fires going and we had made quite a difference with a large area having been cleared.
	Time to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet!
