Edgehills Bog GWT Nature Reserve

Grid Ref SO660154

Another visit to Edgehills Bog where we were blessed by gorgeous sunshine as we were at the top of the hill and there was freezing fog all day a few metres below us. We continued with the small birch clearance and herbicide on the stumps. Two buzzards soared in the sky above us.

This is the team at the end of the day....

We burnt off the cuttings. The tower at the back of the image is one of the radio beacons for our area.

This is the start of the day and the frost is still apparent on the ground.
