Our Forestry contractor had been at Darkhill Iron Works and the neighbouring Titanic Steelworks removing invasive trees from the ruins. Our task was to pile up all the brush and branches around the area.

We also raked the old bracken into piles hoping that the wild flowers would have a chance to emerge. |
