The wall of logs which will be left in place to rot down thus providing a very useful invertebrate habitat.

The team were continuing with the clearing of old trees in order to make glades along the stream. We made really good progress today as we had the help of three Forestry Commission rangers all equipped with their chain saws! So we built an enormous wall of logs and burnt off the small brush.
