We met at the beaver enclosure and divided up into two teams. The majority of us were going to clear both sides of the fencing from bramble and intrusive foliage. Other team members had the task of building a small bridge across the stream.

The lower part of the valley where the beaver dams are has now become quite a wide swampy area.

	This is the sturdy new bridge built by the team. It is required by the Forestry Rangers as the stream width has increased because of the beaver dams further downstream. The Rangers need to get across the stream due to the sitings of their wildlife cameras.
	We had a visit from the Wye Valley AONB volunteers who were taken round the site by our rangers.
	We used sickles and loppers for the fence clearance.
