Edgehills Bog GWT Nature Reserve
Grid Ref SO660154
We had a glorious sunny morning at Edgehills to the extent that the heat of the sun could be felt on our cheeks and a couple of team members even stripped down to their t-shirts! We were continuing to clear birch and leggy gorse. There were obvious signs of nibbling on the green gorse bushes from the Exmoor ponies.

This whole area was smothered in young birch and is now open to encourage the growth of heather, bilberry and other heathland plants.
