Today we were working about a mile from Yat Rock on the Mailscot Trail. A drainage ditch alongside the trail had become blocked over a considerable length and we were tasked with clearing it. During recent heavy rainfall part of the walking/cycling trail had been washed away as a result so this needed to be completed to avoid further damage. We divided into two groups, starting at either end of the blocked ditch eventually meeting in the middle although there was some discussion about who had completed the greatest length! A very muddy task!
