The team are having a warm up by the fire

Grid Ref SO588087

We woke up this morning to a covering of snow and, although it was very cold, the sun was shining through the trees making it a really pretty scene and we soon got a good fire going to warm us up. We continued clearing the large glade and we also started to widen a path, which is well used by walkers, so that we hope to see many more butterflies in the summer.

The snow has disappeared where we were cutting but can be seen in the foreground

Flasks of tea or coffee or soup are vital when working out in temperatures of up to -5 degrees!
