A return visit to continue clearing the glade and remove masses of Hemlock. One of our team wore a pedometer on this day and was amazed to find that she had walked 6.13 miles. The glade was quite a distance from our parked cars but most of the walking was going back and forth into the trees collecting the branches which had been cut by FC rangers using a chain saw. Some of the team members would have done even further walking and others would have done less but it is interesting to note the level of energy used!

 

 

	We had two large fires today which were continually loaded with the branches.
	The team take a morning tea break and a later lunch break and all are happy to sit, relax and chatter!
