The falling down trees on the left of the picture are to be removed. The stream running through is now much clearer and runs quite smoothly since we cleared an area further upstream.

There are many areas here that have fallen, diseased and damaged trees so they are being cleared to open the area up and provide a habitat condusive to the butterflies. The weather was mild and balmy and the forest trees are an amazing colour this autumn.
