Crabtree Hill

It was a very wet morning! - apparently, this September has been the wettest month since 1836 when records began!

However, that did not deter us. We cleared a large area of young birch up the track to Crabtree Hill.

	It is a few years since we had cleared this area so the ground was quite dense with foliage and there is a good deal of heather there.
	Well wrapped up in our waterproofs!
	We had three large fires going to burn off the young trees and branches.
