Take the A4136 road from Drybrook heading to Mitcheldean.Turn right at the top of Plump hill (opposite the Forest of Dean sign) into Fairplay Cottages and follow arrows to the mast.

From Coleford to Cindeford take the B4226,just after Dilke Hospital but before the Linear Park car park, turn right into a forest parking area, meet there but if late go through the gate and follow the white arrows ( along way!) to the parking at SO647106.

Scrub clearance to expose rock formations and benefit invertebrates requiring open conditions.

Meet, with vehicle, at gate along forest track beyond 'stained glass window' half a mile east of Speech House Hotel on the B4226.

Foxes Bridge Colliery Tip

Take B4226 from Coleford, just after Speech House car park take first track left into woods, past Kensley Lodge house and through the wooden five bar gate and immediately bear right. Follow main forest road and white arrows to the parking area.

Scrub clearance to benefit butterflies especially Grizzled Skipper and Wood White etc.
