Lord’s Wood, The Doward

 

Meet in King Arthurs Cave car park,by the metal barrier at the top of the Biblins Campsite entrance. From Whitchurch ( off A40) follow the signs to the Biblins Campsite. The car park is 50 metres after you turn off the lane near to the Doward Campsite

Go-kart track/Perryhay

Meet at the Go-kart track. Take the road towards New Fancy from the Speech House Hotel and just after Hotel turn left into the woodland car park.Go through the five barred gate along Spruce ride until the Go-kart track on the left, just after the lake.

Abbots Wood

 

From Littledean, turn down lane opposite fish & chip shop towards Soudley. After about 1.5 miles take the first metal barrier on the right and follow forest road, forking right to the worksite.

From Coleford take the B4228 to Berry Hill. Approx 300metres before the Christchurch/Bracelands campsite crossroads, go left along a track, bear left and enter the wood through a metal barrier at SO570125. Follow the forest road, take the first left and follow the forest road to the parking area at SO561121

From Parkend take B4431 towards Blakeney, after the Barracks, turn left into Mallards Pike car park. Go past 'Go Ape' and continue straight on along forest road, keeping the lake on your right to the parking area at the next cross roads at SO636097

Awres Glow/Mallards Pike area

From Parkend take B4431 towards Blakeney, after the Barracks, turn left into Mallards Pike car park. Go through the wooden forest barrier, past Go Ape, follow the forest road and turn first right between the 2 lakes and follow the powerline ride to Awres Glow.
